About Us

Sgaravatti Trend Srl is an innovative, dynamic home and garden décor company based in the Veneto region in northeast of Italy. Combining ‘Made in Italy’ style with our 200-year history, Sgaravatti Trend has re-invented the humble flower pot and developed an attractive, innovative range of plant and garden accessories.

Our headquarters is located on a modern industrial estate, close to Padova. Exports represent 97% of turnover. The company develops innovative products, which are 100% Made in Italy and most of them are patented. We have a strong commitment to protecting the environment. In the manufacture of all products as far as possible we aim to use recycled and recyclable materials. In our wooden products (only available in mainland Europe to-date), all the timber carries the PEFC certification, being sourced from sustainable forests.

First horticultural activities. Sgaravatti soon became a reference name in northern Italy, for horticulture and seed production.

2004
Antonio Sgaravatti, Tiziana Pagnoni and Cesare Rizzato founded Sgaravatti Trend Srl.

2004-14
Continual product development and innovation and growing success in mainland Europe.

2004 ‘Iris’ - the textile pot cover
2006 ‘Kit Semina’ (Seed Kit) and ‘Serra Magica’ (‘Magic Greenhouse’) – making gardening easy and fun.
2008 ‘Fashion Plants’ - elegantly-wrapped plants.
2010 ‘KalaMitica’ – Magnetic Pot - the company’s ‘flagship’ product range. A world-first, this unique product was patented in 2010. 100% production in Italy. Now selling in many countries.
2014 September KalaMitica launches in the UK at GLEE fair in Birmingham.
2014 ‘Crazy Pallet’ - launched in mainland Europe (yet to arrive in the UK).
